China’s Ereenhot port sees a major rise in global freight train services

Ereenhot harborage, China’s largest road harborage on the Mongolian border has witnessed a significant rise in transnational freight train services over the once decade, boosting connectivity between China, Mongolia, and Central European countries. By March 2022, the harborage has eased further than China-Europe freight trains since the service started in 2013.

The harborage has witnessed a rapid-fire rise in China-Europe freight trains over the once decade, according to a report on a Chinese government website.

To increase effectiveness, the road harborage has bettered its services by erecting a‘smart border examination platform’, offering customs concurrence 24 hours a day, and carrying out the contact-free examination in agreement with epidemic control protocols.

“The station has launched a series of facilitation enterprises similar as precedence examination for China-Europe freight trains and special channels for epidemic forestallment accouterments, “the station’s director, Amgalan, said.

“Abiding by epidemic control protocols, we make every trouble to ensure the safe and effective passage of China-Europe trains and to spice up the high-quality development of the frugality in the border area,” he added.

Only two similar train services were eased in 2013, while last time, the harborage saw trains pass through. There are 57 routes connecting further than 50 metropolises in 22 regions in China and 44 stops in nine countries.

With the expansion of the China-Europe freight train network, agrarian and artificial products from each over China can be transported on outbound trains to be vented abroad. The inbound trains carry overseas goods to China.

China State Railway Group has said a new public road schedule will operate from April 8, with further China-Europe freight train services listed to more serve transnational force chains and ameliorate high-quality opening-up.

By January, there had been further than China-Europe freight train passages through all border anchorages.

The value of goods transported by the weight services has soared from$ 8 billion in 2016 to$74.9 billion last time, an increase of further than 9 times, according to the group.
