With this notification in place, Royal Mail has issued a warning to customers that they should expect significant disruption during these days. This disturbance will likely cause a significant impact on the parcel market in the UK during and beyond this period. This period of the year includes holidays like Cyber Monday and Black Friday which makes it the busiest for the industry.

We realize that many customers would be using the services of Royal Mail/Parcelforce apace with DX. Such customers would be needing extra support from us during this period of challenging strike days and beyond. DX Express gives reassurance to its customers that, during this period, we will emphasize protecting the service levels on the current volumes to make sure we continue delivering the normal high level of our services.

Besides, DX has also planned to make use of additional resources to provide for a limited extra capacity within the network during the lead-up to Christmas and into the next year. However, with the current situation concerning the planned actions of Royal Mail, the demand for this extra capacity is expected to exceed the supply.

So, if you are looking for extra support during the next months, do get in touch with the local account manager or drop an email at emailsaleshelpdesk@dxdelivery.com. In the email, quote the name, address, and account number of your company along with full contact details. DX will be happy to reach out to you for a discussion on your specific needs.

DX will individually review all the requests. However, the extra support offered will rely on the continued volume commitment into the New Year so that DX Express can plan and commit to suitable extra resources.
