Ukraine, EU finalize deal on road transport liberalization

Ukraine and the European Union have agreed on the final textbook of a deal on road transport liberalization, the Ukrainian structure Ministry said in a statement on Tuesday.
The agreement, which is set to be inked by the end of this month, will significantly ameliorate and speed up logistics between Ukraine and the EU, the ministry said on Facebook.
In particular, the deal stipulates that the EU will cancel the obligation for Ukrainian vehicles to gain special permits for transporting goods in the EU.
” This is a critically important moment, when, in the conditions of the leaguer of seaports, the Ukrainian frugality is fully dependent on stable logistics on the western borders,” said Oleksandr Kubrakov, the Ukrainian structure minister.
Ukraine and the EU began accommodations on road transport liberalization last time.
After the launch of the Russia- Ukraine conflict on February, 12 EU countries have temporarily allowed permit-free passage for Ukrainian freight machine transport.
